London!

London is one of the most unique cities I have ever been to. I do not think that anyone actually lives in London it is just all tourist. It is definitely the way it felt. The fact that I was always near a tourist attraction could have effected this stat some, but still almost everywhere in London is a tourist attraction so who knows. I got to see things such as the London Eye, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, St. James Park, The London Bridge, Tower Bridge, The London Tower and a part of London called Camden Street all in around 30 hours. My two friends and I walked EVERYWHERE in London and we definitely conquered the city. The only city in America that I could compare London to is a smaller version of New York. They have incredible public transportation in London, even better than New York. If necessary I could reach almost anywhere in London in under 30 minutes without stepping inside of a car. I spent friday all day and saturday until about 5 in the afternoon traveling around London. To really get a feel for London you need more time than 30 hours. The city is enormous with nearly 10,000,000 people, but I feel like I hardly ran into any English people. I definitely heard more foreign languages and accents than English the entire time I was there. There are not many cities that you can find like that. The pound ($1.80 exchange rate) killed my bank account some, but I did my best to save money. Stopped by The Tower of London and saw the king's armory and the royal jewels. The arrmor was ridiculous they had infant and toddler versions of knight's armor and some of the fatter kings armor. Pretty funny to see the variety and quality. Nothing like that exists in America. Overall, I give London a 9/10 I saw a lot of the city, but I definitely needed more time to be able to fully compare it to America. In many ways it was like America with the McDonald's and other chain restaurants everywhere. London also had an extremely unique feel to the city. Not many cities have 10  attractions known throughout the world in such a short distance. I have always seen these places in movies, but I never guessed I would ever actually see them. I hope I can get back to London again soon!
